Our stay at the riverside cabin in November was absolutely mind-blowing! The cozy wall heater kept us super cozy, and having a fridge and coffee maker was jaw-droppingly helpful. The location was perfect with our rental car, allowing us to easily explore everything within 30-40 minutes. The well-heated bath house made the walk back to our cabin no problem at all. The 7 euro bed linens were totally worth it, transforming the drab beds into surprisingly comfortable ones. We loved using the coffee maker for hot chocolates and snuggling up on the porch. And the best part? The camping's incredible location for seeing jaw-dropping auroras! No need for expensive safaris, just step outside and look up. Thank you to the dedicated staff for making our stay so incredibly enjoyable!

We stayed at Ivalo River Camping for a family trip and were delighted when they upgraded our room for free. The location was perfect, with easy access to Inari and Saariselka. Just a short drive away, we were able to experience the breathtaking Aurora Borealis at Ukkojarvi. The cabins and apartments were lovely, and the breakfast buffet, complete with make-your-own waffles, was a great way to start the day. The staff was helpful, and the cleanliness of the showers and toilets was commendable. it was a fantastic value for the money.
Would recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at the camping in Ivalo. the staff at River Camping were incredibly kind and attentive, always answering any questions we had. the main building, where we had breakfast and meals, was super clean. the cabins were cozy and warm, despite being a bit small. the beds were surprisingly comfortable. the location was perfect for our goal of seeing the aurora, as we were able to step outside and check on the weather conditions throughout the evening. the area around the camping was beautiful, offering plenty of opportunities for hiking and enjoying nature. it was a lovely experience. Cons: Nothing for me. 🌟.

My brother and I stayed at Ivalo River Camping for a week and it was an amazing experience. The staff, especially Minna and Matti, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. The food, especially the Salmon soup and blueberry pie, was delicious. The cabin was spacious and well-equipped with a kettle, coffee machine, fridge, and microwave. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful and secluded atmosphere while still being close to everything we needed. We even had the chance to feed the reindeer on the camping grounds. our stay here was unforgettable and we can't wait to come back next year to see our friends once again.
100% Recommend this hotel.

It was great! The cabin we had became our warm home for the 7 days we were there. Staff were helpful with activities, bus times, and renting a car. They even brought us to feed the reindeer one morning. The bar at the camp is the only one opened till 1. Locals come before going to parties or clubs, so we got tips from them. The breakfast was diverse and good, and the restaurant had fair prices. The hostel is right in front of the river, perfect for photographers. Andy was a very kind guy, providing all the info we needed.
Recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at River Camping in Ivalo! The little cabin I stayed in had a cozy and warm atmosphere, perfect for a group of young travellers like us. The bar with karaoke and the variety of activities offered made it a fun place to hang out. The location by the river was beautiful, especially for photography enthusiasts. The staff, especially Andy, were kind and helpful, providing all the information we needed. Despite a few minor drawbacks, overall I highly recommend this place for a nice and enjoyable stay.

I got great value for my money at River Camping. The house I stayed in was cozy and had everything I needed. The location right on the highway was convenient for my pit stop, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
The hotel breakfast menu could use a little more variety.

The cabins were clean and cozy, perfect for a winter stay. The staff were friendly and provided valuable information about Lapland and its culture. We enjoyed the close proximity to the Ivalo river, great for Aurora gazing and other activities. the kitchen and washroom facilities were well-maintained and just a few steps away from our cabin.
The common areas could use some renovations, and the cabin we stayed in was smaller than expected. It could have been cleaner and had limited storage space.
